HSSE Management System

IOT’s HSSE Management System (HSSE MS) drives continuous improvement in our HSSE performance and legal compliance in our facilities and operations world-wide.

Our HSSE MS comprises key literature such as Mandatory HSSE elements, Take 5 for Safety, Minimum Fire Protection Standards and 65 Safety Health and operational control procedures that detail the minimum standards for controlling safety and environmental risk in our operations. The MS documents are communicated to all employees.

Our HSSE MS aligns with the requirements of ISO 14001:2004, the Environmental Management System standard; OHSAS 18001:2007, the Health and Safety Management System standard; and ISO 9001, the Quality Management System standard.

Our overseas EPC sites obtain external certification of their HSSE management system to comply with International Organization of Standardization (ISO) standards.

We minimize our environmental footprint by conserving resources, such as energy and water, reducing waste and spills and increasing recycling.We also promote a culture where Stop Work Authority is exercised freely and is valued as a proactive process to control HSSE risks and impacts.
