IOT Biogas Private Limited, Biogas Plant Namakkal

Nestled in Western Tamilnadu, the IOT Biogas plant commenced operations in 2012 as a 2.4 MW power plant, supplying electricity to the Tamilnadu Generation & Distribution Corporation, and was later repurposed to generate BioCNG. Founded as an erstwhile joint venture of Indian Oiltanking & Mabagas GmbH, the project was acquired as a fully owned subsidiary by Indian Oiltanking in 2018.

The Biogas production at the plant has been continuously increased since inception, and "AYSWARAM", the company's own organic fertilizer brand, has been successfully established on the market.
